Sterling Silver Cat Pendant - Cat Jewelry - Adorable Sketchy Cat Necklace

This sterling silver and vitreous enamel pendant ships on an adjustable sterling chain that can be latched on any link between 16 and 20 inches.

To make this piece I start with milled wax, then cast that wax pendant into metal and mold it so I can make multiples. The setting then gets a layer of vitreous enamel (fine glass) and fired at 1400 degrees in a kiln, four separate times, to build strength and color saturation . Finally I take an illustration from my sketchbook, turn it into an enamel screen print, and fire that on the top for a durable, waterproof and vibrant finish. So many steps.
