This is my favorite Walt Whitman quote. "We were together I forget the rest". So freaking romantic.
I carved this ring setting from a block of wax, then cast that wax ring into metal and molded it so I can make multiples. The inset then gets a layer of vitreous enamel (fine glass) and fired at 1400 degrees in a kiln, four separate times, to build strength and color saturation . Finally I take an illustration from my sketchbook, turn it into an enamel screen print, and fire that on the top for a durable, waterproof and vibrant finish. So many steps to make a lasting treasure.
This ring face measures 3/8ths of an inch high and 5/8ths of an inch long. It is available in sizes 5 through 11 for women and men. Great for stacking.
