Gold Plated Half Dome Pendant - Reversible Black and Spruce - On Gold Filled Chain

This tiny 1/2 inch tall mountain pendant has two sides of color, black or spruce green. Made with sterling silver then dipped in gold it ships on an 16, 18 or 20 inch high quality gold filled chain. Great for layering with your other gold necklaces.

To make this piece I start with milled wax, then cast that wax pendant into metal and mold it so I can make multiples. The setting then gets a layer of vitreous enamel (fine glass) and fired at 1400 degrees in a kiln, four separate times, to build strength and color saturation . Finally it is dipped in 14k gold for a durable, waterproof and vibrant finish. So many steps.
