Three Birds Ring - Sterling and Enamel Statement Ring - Mid-Century Modern Style

I try not to play favorites but this handcrafted sterling silver and vitreous enamel ring makes the top of my list.
Ring face is 7/8ths inch tall by 5/8ths wide.
I carved this ring setting from a block of wax, then cast that wax ring into metal and molded it so I can make multiples. The inset then gets a layer of vitreous enamel (fine glass) and fired at 1400 degrees in a kiln, four separate times, to build strength and color saturation . Finally I take an illustration from my sketchbook, turn it into an enamel screen print, and fire that on the top for a durable, waterproof and vibrant finish. So many steps to make a lasting treasure.
