This GORGEOUS little necklace features 4mm rose cut white topaz, which brings all the brilliance of a diamond at a fraction of the cost.
Great for everyday wear or can be dressed up for a special occasion!
Handmade in my Oakland, CA workshop.
I carved this sterling silver setting from a block of wax, then cast that wax pendant into metal and molded it so I can make multiples. The gold leaf is fused to the sterling silver using a traditional Korean technique called Keum-boo. In this process, 24k gold foil is burnished by hand onto the surface using heat and a jade tipped tool, leaving the surface shiny, yet subtly textured. The piece is then soldered, blacked and polished before bezel-setting the gemstone.
Great for everyday wear or can be dressed up for a special occasion!
