Reversible Draw and Pencil Sterling Silver and Enamel Bracelet

This reversible sterling silver bracelet has the word "draw" on one side and a cute drawing of a pencil on the other. Wear it as a reminder to practice art everyday, and to bring it with you wherever you go.

The one inch sterling and enamel part is connected to sterling silver curb chain with a sterling lobster clasp. The bracelet is 8 inches in total and can be clasped anywhere on the chain, making it fully adjustable.

I carved the sterling silver setting from a block of wax, then cast that wax pendant into metal and molded it so I can make multiples. Both sides of the setting then get a layer of vitreous enamel (fine glass) and fired at 1400 degrees in a kiln, four separate times, to build strength and color saturation . Finally I take an illustration from my sketchbook, turn it into an enamel screen print, and fire that on the top for a durable, waterproof and vibrant finish. So many steps.
